Hi there! My name is Hailey, and I am a wife, fur-baby mom, and the chicken mom behind The Homesteaders Wife. I am so excited to embark on this journey together and get to meet all you wonderful people!

I have been crafting since I can remember, and it has always brought me immense joy. Every summer, my Grandma and I spent so many hours in the sewing room rewatching all of our favorite movies. I owe everything I know to her.

In 2022, I moved to Montana to go to college, and it ended up not being for me. In 2023, I met my husband and soul mate and moved in with him in our little town, which I now call home. About a year later, he got me my first set of chicken babies, and he had no idea the can of worms he opened! Now we have thirteen chickens and three ducks, which produce eggs for us. I one day hope to expand my farm and get many more fur and feather babies!

As well, I have a huge garden! I plan on producing lots of fruits and vegetables to later pickle, can, and jam to sell!

Instead of having a traditional job, I thought that I should start selling all my finished projects because who doesn’t want a homemade blanket! Every day, I am learning new skills to incorporate into my company, so please stick around for more!
